I had a lecture on Tuesday from my supervisor Dr. Xiang Cao about Human Computer Interaction. He discussed a multi-touch mouse that is being developed using similar technology to the Surface (i.e. Infra red cameras). However this seems to have rather timely, been beaten when Apple brought out a new multi-touch mouse that very day!
